Tattoo for Two

On our final full day in Marrakech, we found a great brunch restaurant within walking distance from the AirBnB. Ozun Cafe is a charming little walk-down with indoor and outdoor seating, but the indoor seating is very limited. Breakfast was very good.

Lindsay and I had booked a tattoo appointment for later that day for an artist she found on Instagram. We wanted to get fine-line Berber symbol tattoos, and the place to do that is in Morocco. Our initial idea was to get matching tattoos featuring the serpent (regeneration, wisdom, and protection) and the yaz (freedom) symbol. But I decided to add the camel symbol (endurance and prosperity) to mine. Kim was very personable, professional, and knowledgeable. The overall experience was superb.

For dinner, we decided to stay in and enjoy each other's company. We got takeout from Eat Thailand, where Lindsay and Haily had picked up dinner on a previous night. Our Moroccan adventure complete, we retired early because we had an early flight.

Although we didn't get to do everything we initially planned due to weather and logistics, Morocco was amazing. The earth is such a large place with so much to see that I rarely revisit a country, but Morocco is definitely one I will visit again someday.
